SMB Tech Squad began building websites for small businesses. Clients kept asking us to do more, fix an integration, automate a workflow, manage the domain renewal nobody else would touch. We realised they didn't need another vendor. They needed a technology partner.
So we became one. Today we're the fractional CTO for small and medium businesses, handling every part of the stack on a monthly retainer, so owners can stop losing Tuesdays to broken tech.

The Story
SMB Tech Squad began building websites for small businesses. The clients kept asking us to do more, fix this integration, automate this process, manage the domain renewal nobody else would touch.
After enough of those conversations, we realised something. The clients didn't need another vendor. They needed a technology partner. So we became one.
The tech industry is built around two customer profiles: the venture backed startup with $2M to burn, and the F500 with a $40M IT budget. Neither one looks like your accountant's office, your dental clinic, or your six person law firm. Small businesses get one of two bad deals: a $39 a month builder that breaks every quarter, or a $48,000 dev shop quote that requires a board meeting.
There's a middle, and we built SMB Tech Squad to live there. We're small on purpose. No sales team, no account managers, no four week discovery process before the first line of code. The same person you talk to on the consult call is the person who'll build your work.
We're opinionated about tools. We've been doing this long enough to know which $20 a month SaaS replaces a $40k custom build. We'd rather recommend that and lose the project than oversell you.
